We are in Denali National Park. Everything is still going well. We turn in the motor home in Anchorage on Wednesday. Internet access has been spotty. In fact, everything has been spotty. I have been buying gas whenever I see it, filling up every 100 miles sometimes. The few times I have driven by a gas station, I was feeling nervous before I found the next one. I have always felt safe, but you don't want to break down out here in the wilderness. Gas has been expensive. In Muncho Lake, BC, it was $1.84 per liter. But I bought gas anyway.
We have had a lot of fun and many good laughs. Today we went to see a sled dog demonstration and saw a movie that almost brought me to tears because it was so beautiful.
I just wanted to touch base and let everyone know we are OK. I'll get all the pictures downloaded and cropped and brightened up while we are on the cruise -- Sunday to Sunday. I'm looking forward to sharing what we have seen and done.
We're keeping on keeping on.
Love to all,
Charlotte & Susan
Glad to hear you are safe & having fun!
